Oboe – Artist

Only the most select cane from the Mediterranean basin is used in the Jones Artist Oboe reeds.  The Artist reed is designed for intermediated to advanced players.

They utilize the traditional long scrape, allowing each player to grow into the full range of the oboe.

Our Artist Oboe reed is tuned to 440Hz.  The “crow” of each reed is adjusted to an exact pitch, and the reed is played throughout the range on a professional oboe.
